In Ascoli Piceno, wine is part of the landscape as much as the stone piazzas, olive groves, and Adriatic air. Vineyards stretch between the sea and the mountains, shaped by generations who understand that great wine is never rushed — it is cultivated through patience, tradition, and a deep connection to place.
For the Zappasodi family, Le Marche has always been home in spirit. Though our family immigrated to the United States in 1958 in pursuit of new opportunities, our roots remain firmly tied to the rolling hills, coastal breezes, and table-centered culture of central Italy.
Regional Imports was founded from that connection: a desire to share wines that reflect not only exceptional craftsmanship, but also the character, history, and authenticity of the regions they come from. We are drawn to producers who honor their land, work thoughtfully, and create wines with a true sense of identity.
As a family-owned company, relationships remain at the center of everything we do — with our growers, our partners, and the communities we serve. Wine has always been about bringing people together, creating conversation, and offering a sense of place in every glass.

ABOUT REGIONAL IMPORTS
Founded in 2005 by the Zappasodi family, Regional Imports was built from a deep connection to the wines and culture of Le Marche, Italy. Under the leadership of Joe Zappasodi, we remain closely involved in every step of the process - from vineyard to glass.
We partner with carefully sought after producers throughout Le Marche and neighboring regions, many connected to us through longstanding relationships and shared heritage. Regular visits to our wineries keep us closely tied to each vintage, producer, and the traditions behind every bottle.
Every wine in our portfolio is chosen with intention - for it's quality, authenticity, and sense of place. We are proud to share wines that reflect the character, craftsmanship and hospitality of Italy.
